At Portage Bible Church, we support numerous missions across the world such as in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South America, and other areas as well. For safety reasons, we cannot list all missionaries or always update their information online. If you want more information, please contact our Missions Committee.

If you attend PBC and would like to participate in our ministry of writing “snail mail” or e-mail to missionaries, let PBC’s secretary know. Participation is open to everyone—men, women, families, Sunday School classes, or groups of friends. You’ll be encouraging missionaries in meaningful ways!

Andy and Kathleen Girwarnauth – PIEI – Guyana, SA

Andy and Kathleen Girwanauth serve as missionaries in Guyana, focusing on church planting and equipping local pastors. Despite challenges from worldly influences, they bring the Gospel to communities where many have never heard about Jesus Christ.

Mani and Rachel Subramanian – BOAM (Bible Open Air Mission)

Mani, now International Director of BOAM, spreads the Gospel in India, Africa, the Philippines, and beyond. BOAM uniquely trains nationals to minister within their own communities, opening new mission fields continuously.

Wayne and Susie Vanderwier – BCMW (Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide)

Wayne and Susie founded OIC in 2005. Pronounced “Oh! I See!”, OIC teaches pastors and laypeople to counsel Biblically worldwide. Recently, OIC evolveed and changed into BCMW, which is Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide.
